Yuka Tokitate is one of the main protagonists of the manga/anime series, I’m Standing on a Million Lives.
She is the nerdy classmate of Yuusuke Yotsuda who ends up being recruited into the party by the Game Master after she befriends Yuusuke.
She is voiced by Tara sands.
What Makes Her a Scrappy?[]
- She is seen by fans as useless despite being one of the main characters. She doesn’t like to help in battle and instead hides behind the other characters. While Kusue does similar things in battle, she has a past relating to feeling like she can’t fight, while Yuka refuses purely out of cowardice.
- Fans dislike her actions during her introduction, where after Yuusuke saves her from some bullies, she secretly went back to the bullies and lied that Yuusuke was a pervert to get them off her back, essentially scapegoating someone who helped her.
- While she is meant to be seen as resilient and determined, her actions themselves make her come off as ungrateful and incompetent as she constantly gets the Party in trouble with enemies, even getting allies killed in the process, simply because she can’t keep her mouth shut.
- She has the tendency to bully Yuusuke during their interactions, despite him protecting her in battle many times.
- She is never punished for her behavior, and was even commended by the Party after her first quest.
