The Wandering Wookie is a playable character in the 2022 video game LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga.
As his name suggests, he is a wookie who travels across the galaxy. The player unlocks him after encountering him on all 33 planets in the game. They must also visit 5 capital ships, the Death Star, Death Star II, Executor, Trade Federation Battleship and the Steadfast.
What Makes Him a Scrappy?[]
- He's considered an incredibly annoying character to unlock, since the player has to go to every single planet in the game and track down the wookie. The wookie is also in very obscure spots sometimes.
- Thanks to the games character class system, the Wandering Wookie shares the same abilities with every other Scoundrel. This gives the player no reason to unlock the wookie, other than going for the 100% completion, especially with how hard it is to find him.
- His design is also found to be lackluster, since he's just Chewbacca with tan fur.
- He's not seen as a very interesting character, as his only character traits are wanting to explore the galaxy.
- While other LEGO games had difficult to unlock characters, they always had unique animations, useful abilities, or some other attribute that made them desirable for players. The Wandering Wookie has none of these and was just considered a massive waste.
- Being seen on Capital ships, in order to unlock the Wookie, the player must spend hefty amounts of studs in order to just find him in the first place. The cheapest of these being the Death Star II, which is still 2,000,000 studs. All added up these ships cost about 15,000,000 studs all together, basically making him over 15,000,000 studs to unlock.
