Mal finds the infobox on this page admirable, as its pretty dead, as evidenced by how many, if not all sections, in it are as empty as his heart and the land he rules. Next thing you know, he might rule over it. Prevent this from happening by updating and expanding the infobox. |

Trylla is a major protagonist in the Hilda franchise, acting as the tritagonist of the comic, Hilda and the Mountain King and its movie adaptation.
She is a troll inhabiting the forest outside Trolsburg, as well as the mother of Baba. Wanting Baba to have a better life, Trylla uses a spell and turns her human and Hilda into a troll before kidnapping Hilda at night and replacing her with Baba.
What Makes Her a Scrappy?[]
- She is indirectly the cause of most of the movie's problems, as her kidnapping Hilda led to the citizens of Trolsburg developing a strong disliking towards the trolls. It nearly got Johanna killed by other trolls when she went to look for Hilda, and caused Hilda to help Trundle, thinking he would change her back into a human.
- While she was aware of Johanna searching for Hilda and nearly getting killed by three trolls, she didn’t help her and lied to Hilda about it in order to keep her with Trylla.
- While she was meant to be seen as a sympathetic extremist who genuinely wanted Baba to have a better life with Johanna, her actions come off as a neglectful mother who abandoned her child with a stranger. Especially seeing as the other mothers in the film, such as Johanna and Amma, risked their lives and safety for their kids.
- Despite how damaging her actions were, she is never called out for them and is easily forgiven by Hilda and Johanna at the end.
Trivia[]
- It is believed that her negative reception is the reason she was removed from the series afterwards.
