Sidney "Sid" is the tritagonist of DreamWorks' 13th full-length animated feature film Flushed Away, which is also Aardman's 3rd animated feature film.
He was voiced by Shane Richie.
What Makes Him a Scrappy?[]
- He was meant to be played for laughs, but he instead came off as annoying and unlikable due to the following reasons seen here.
- He is incredibly disgusting with how he constantly belches really loudly and shows Roddy chewed up food in his mouth.
- He is really messy and lazy, as he trashes Roddy's apartment and doesn't bother to clean it up.
- He is extremely rude to Roddy.
- He tries to force him to do whatever he says, showing just how selfish he is.
- When Roddy returns home, he makes fun of him for how lonely he is, even calling him a "loser".
- Despite being an adult, Sid acts more like a bratty teenager with his constant rudeness, bad eating habits and lack of sense of responsibility.
- He doesn't receive any sympathy from the audience when he is horrified to see the cat that Roddy's owner Tabitha brought home from her holiday, and knowing what he is in for is cathartic to say the least.
