Ramon Juarrera "Sheen" Estevez is the titular main protagonist of the infamous Jimmy Neutron spin-off series Planet Sheen.
He is one of Jimmy Neutron's best friends who, after accidentally blasting himself into outer space and landing on the planet Zeenu, became the hero of the planet while making new friends.
He was voiced by Jeffrey Garcia.
What Makes Him a Scrappy?[]
- He was negatively shifted from his original persona as a nerdy, hyperactive, wacky, and hilarious goofball, into a completely annoying, obnoxious, self-centered, insanely dimwitted, incompetent, and immature idiot who couldn't care less about his surroundings, possesses zero knowledge as of how to fulfill his duties as ambassador, and has little-to-no interest in the well-being of the people who surround him, frequently inventing ridiculous events and regulations just to tame his own boredom and/or hyperactivity.
- His humor and gags have gone from being actually funny and intelligent to being unfunny, stupid, and gross. It gets to the point that he overuses toilet humor in the worst way possible.
- He doesn't have any concerns regarding returning to Earth throughout the series. In fact, he decides to stay on Zeenu in "Banana Quest", the series finale.
- However, in "Tomorrow Boys", an episode from the original series, it's implied that he did return to Earth.
- In this series, he has completely forgotten about Libby. Instead, he has become attracted to an alien named Aseefa, which means that he has practically cheated on Libby.
- While he could be a bit of a jerk at times in the original show, he still cared about his friends, had good intentions, and loved his father and girlfriend more than he did Ultra Lord. Here, his positive traits are completely gone and his negative traits are cranked up for the worst, turning him into a self-centered jerk who repeatedly endangered others, including his own friends.
- In the flashback in "Is This Cute?", he almost murdered Carl by carelessly tossing him into a plane.
- Although Jeff Garcia reprised his role as Sheen, his voice has somewhat downgraded and got even more grating.
- Other than a few episodes where he gets his comeuppance like "QuaranSheen", he barely gets punished for his actions, nor does he get called out on them.
- He is the reason why his own show gets cancelled after one season.
Trivia[]
- There was originally a special episode planned where Jimmy and the others would've went to Zeenu to rescue Sheen. However, due to how negatively "Planet Sheen" has done (mainly from Sheen himself being such an unlikable character), this episode was cancelled and the show ends with Sheen deciding to stay on Zeenu.
