Romy and Mary Watson are characters in the Spider-Man comics. They are the adopted kids of Mary-Jane Watson and Paul Rabin.
What Makes Them Scrappies?[]
- They are only there to serve as children for Mary-Jane to further prevent her from being with Peter and nothing else.
- Their designs don’t work well with the comic’s art style, as they unintentionally come off as creepy or weird looking.
- Outside of keeping Peter away from MJ, they barely further the plot at all, only existing to be killed at the end. They don’t even provide good character development for their parents outside of playing with them.
- Their names, particularly Romy, get changed around every so often.
- They have little personality outside of being happy kids.
- No one cared that they died and instead celebrated it.
