NOTE: This page only refers to the non-canon Ren from the spin-off show, as the canon Ren in The Ren & Stimpy Show is well-received.

Ren Höek is one of the two titular main protagonists of the infamous adult animated spin-off of the Nickelodeon animated series titled Ren and Stimpy: Adult Party Cartoon by John Kricfalusi.

He was voiced by series creator, John Kricfalusi, who reprises his role from the original Ren & Stimpy series.

What Makes Him a Scrappy?[]

  • To get the elephant in the room out of the way, the universally despised 'Ren Seeks Help' is the prime example of how hated this version of the character is.
  • He is presented as quite perverted towards multiple women.
  • He somehow gets Stimpy pregnant with his child in 'Stimpy's Pregnant.'
  • He tortured various animals to the point that he outright refused to put a frog out of its misery so he could continue torturing it.
  • He Killed Mr. Horse simply because he called him 'crazy.'
  • His horrible actions were supposed to be black comedy, with Ren himself intended to be a comedic character, but most of the time he merely comes off as a horrible psychopath.
    • Although the show sometimes tries to "humanize" him, this does not work given Ren's vulgar nature, as well as abusing Stimpy even at times when he should be rooting for and "sympathetic".
