Ralph Bohner is a minor character in the show, WandaVision and Agatha All Along. He had the role of Agatha Harkness' husband and later Quicksilver.
He is played by Evan Peter.
What Makes Him A Scrappy?[]
- He only exists as a red herring to the X-Men series, through Evan Peter's casting, and the possibility of Mephisto in the MCU, as Ralph Bohner was an alias of his, only for both possibilities to be tossed away in his final appearance. Therefore, his existence wastes the possibility of Mephisto or X-Men appearing in the MCU in favor of a cheap gag.
- Furthermore, fans also disappointed that Marvel didn’t use this as an opportunity to bring back Quicksilver, who died back in Age of Ultron.
- Combined with the fact that Marvel bring back other non-MCU characters through multiverse, it also feel like a wasted opportunity to properly bring back Fox Quicksilver too.
- He doesn’t add much to the shows he appears in and is essentially forgotten about shortly after his reveal.
- His surname is childish shock value at best.
Trivia[]
- In Fox’s X men films, Quicksilver’s name was Peter Maximoff, as a way to differentiate from the MCU Quicksilver. He appered in X-men: Days of future past, X-men: Apocalpyse, and X-men: Dark Phoenix.
