Raiden is a major character in the Mortal Kombat series. He was made into a playable character in Injustice 2 as part of Fighter Pack 2 alongside Black Manta and Hellboy. Raiden is the god of thunder and his role is to protect Earthrealm.
Raiden is voiced by Richard Epcar.
What Makes Him a Scrappy?[]
- Raiden was not a good DLC addition for Injustice 2, cause there was already a Mortal Kombat represented with Sub-Zero. So, adding in another Mk character like Raiden just feels like a massive waste. Especially cause fans wanted to see a DC character like Beast Boy and Static Shock make it to the game, or the very least a better guest character instead an another Mortal Kombat character.
- His design has also been heavily criticized. The main complaint being his face gear and his exposed chest. Overall, it just seems the kind of outfit Raiden would never wear even it is Superhero themed.
- While Raiden does have a character skin in the form of Black Lightning another DC character all this just further questions as to why Raiden was chosen to be on the roster to begin with. Considering that Raiden is the only guest character in the game to have a character skin.
