Quercus Alba is the main antagonist of Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth. He made his debut appearance in Turnabout Ablaze in his feeble persona as a kind and gentle ambassador. However, beneath the cloak of the feeble persona lies a corrupt smuggling leader who uses his position to advance his goal for profit. His smuggling ring scheme is the overarching plot of the entire game and the motives for almost every culprit of the game.
What Makes Him A Scrappy?[]
- Players find him underdeveloped due to his lack of screentime prior to being revealed to be the main villain, giving less incentive to stop him. Despite influencing the other antagonists' crimes, he lacks any meaningful connections towards them other than his role in the smuggling ring.
- He has a flat personality, having little characteristics other than his arrogance and unwillingness to face consequences.
- Players consider his trial to be frustrating and repetitive due to him constantly trying to evoke his extraterritorial rights and twists that come out of nowhere, getting annoyed by how he gets as far as he does due to the plot bending towards his favor rather than his own resourcefulness.
