~ Pink Gold Peach |
Pink Gold Peach is a minor character in the Mario franchise, first appearing in Mario Kart 8 as a playable racer.
She is a metallic pink version of Princess Peach.
What Makes Her a Scrappy?[]
- Pink Gold Peach is infamous for being nothing more than a palette swap of Peach, one that's only purpose is to serve as filler in Mario Kart 8's roster and to add another female heavyweight, which irritated many fans who thought that someone like Honey Queen should've been brought back, or that a new character could've been created in vain to how Toadette was created to be Toad's partner in Double Dash.
- Another problem that people have with her is that her introduction feels very out of place. Unlike Metal Mario, who at least made prior appearances as a transformation for Mario to justify his addition, Pink Gold Peach made no appearances prior to Mario Kart 8, which makes her debut in Mario Kart all the more baffling when she could have served as one of Peach's transformations.
- She's widely hated by many people, primarily due to her lack of personality or traits to make her interesting.
- She became the subject of many memes that poke fun at her existence, and even started the joke of people making metal variations of other Mario characters, like Green Silver Luigi.
- She ultimately replaced Dry Bowser on the base roster, with the latter becoming apart of the Animal Crossing DLC much to the disappointment and anger from many fans.
