~ Pax |
Pax is the main protagonist of the game, Dustborn and lives in the land of Pacific
She is voiced by Dominique Tipper.
What Makes Her a Scrappy?[]
- Pax is supposed to be seen as the hero in her story who opposes all kinds of bigotry towards her own kind, but it falls flat considering her Vox powers which involves some very fascist and villainous actions such as using Cancel (isolating people from friends and family), Gaslight, Trigger, Bully, Normalize, and Hoax on her enemies, along with her also being bigoted herself towards robots, with the consequences that her enemies would end up engaging in self-harm, which makes her hypocritical.
- What makes it worse is that her actions are treated as a good thing, when it's something that all different types of actual abusers would do to their victims, which ends with the audience hating her and consider her nature insulting to bullying victims and abuse survivors.
- She doesn't just do this on her enemies, but she also does this to many people who are either innocently insensitive or don't do anything to her and even her own friends as well, which made the audience wonder why the rest of the main cast are still friends with her despite her toxic behavior. One of the examples is Pax pranking and bullying Theo for praying and his religious beliefs.
- She is an excruciatingly bland and one-dimensional character who is overly angst, brooding, manipulative, and crude and is unable to be presented in a positive light in some way.
- She (alongside her bandmates) constantly talk nonstop during battle to the point where it becomes really annoying.
- Even though Pax's name means "peace", her questionable actions against other people makes the meaning fall flat in a the most ironic way possible.
- She regularly abuses her own sister, Ziggy (who was only a small child who doesn't know better), when she was using her things without her permission, she uses a Vocal Vox against her, even though she knows full well that using Vox is never allowed in the home, and instead of communicating with her that she must ask first before she touches her stuff, she threatens to bury her alive under the floorboards of their house if she ever told their mother.
- Just the simple fact that Pax never faced any consequences for her terrible actions while everyone else suffered from her horrible treatment towards them, only had her receiving even more hate from the audience.
