Patrick Bateman is the overarching antagonist of American Psycho 2 (also know as American Psycho II: All American Girl), a non canon sequel to the film American Psycho. He was a serial killer in the movies intro who kidnapped Rachael Newman and her babysitter Clara until Rachael kills him with a ice pick when she was 12.
He was portrayed by Michael Kremko.
What Makes Him A Scrappy?[]
- For starters, he only appears in the intro which is baffling considering how iconic he was in the original movie.
- He doesn't get any lines or any real personally.
- His killing of Clara was poorly done as the camera angle made is impossible to see what he's doing.
- In an infamous moment, he ends up being killed by a then 12-year-old Rachael Newman which is just plain disrespectful to the iconic character and just extremely stupid.
Trivia[]
- He's the only version of Patrick Bateman to be a Scrappy.
- Both he and Rachel Newman are the only American Psycho characters to be Scrappies, even though the film is non-canon.
- The film wasn't even supposed to be an American Psycho sequel, as it has seen in the screenplay titled "The Girl Who Wouldn't Die".
- His death at Rachel Newman's hands led to Dead Meat host Chelsea Rebecca giving him the Dull Machete award during the American Psycho 2 Kill Count due to it being a massive disrespect to Patrick Bateman as a character.
