Orson

Orson is the main antagonist of the 2022 Disney+ film, The Ice Age: Adventures of Buck Wild, which is the 6th installment in the Ice Age franchise.

He is a Protoceratops with high intelligence who wants to take over the Lost World.

He was voiced by Utkarsh Ambudkar.

What Makes Him a Scrappy?[]

Despite being teased as a big threat that even scares Buck Wild himself, he's hardly a threat throughout the whole movie, and only comes off as far as he goes because he can control the fire that hypnotizes the raptors, and hardly shows the intelligence he constantly glosses about.
Buck's backstory shows him as someone that manages to start a civil war in the Lost World between the dinosaurs and the mammals and using his wits to defeat all of Buck's friends besides Zee, but he never shows the same level of competence in the present day.
His whole existence seems to ignore several continuity elements from the previous entries and even the same movie: he's mentioned being the only dinosaur able to talk thanks to his great intelligence despite the previous movie having Gavin, Gertie and Roger being able to talk, while being far from intelligent, the civil war ignores most of the Lost World being uncivilized and mammals being rare in previous entries.
A lot of fans also disliked the idea of Orson seeming a more personal rival for Buck than Rudy, who's ignored in this movie.
Any chance of being taken seriously is throw over the window the very moment he's defeated by Crash and Eddie.
