Mida Rana is one of the upcoming rivals from the video game Yandere Simulator.

She is planned to be the seventh rival of the game that Ayano Aishi clashes with for Taro Yamada's love, being a promiscuous substitute teacher with a habit of seducing the male students she teaches.

She was originally voiced by Marissa Lenti, whom quit the role following the game's controversies.

What Makes Her a Scrappy?

• She has no personality or depth aside from being seductive and perverted. As development went on, Mida's habits became more exaggerated, to the point where she became more uncomfortable than funny.
• She is an ephebophile who tries to flirt with teenagers despite being in her 20s, including Taro. While this would give the player a reason to oppose her, her overly sexualized appearance and YandereDev's tendency to glorify and joke about her perverted traits ends up coming off as distasteful.
• Due to the increasing societal awareness of sexual violence over the course of the game's development and YandereDev’s grooming allegations, Mida's character has been viewed in a more negative light due to trivializing serious issues by those against YandereDev.
