Hey! Listen! This article's empty.
Navi can't help but notice that this article is very short and does not have enough content in it, and she is asking you for help in expanding the article to at least give it some decency.

NOTE: This article only pertains to the War for Cybetron: Kingdom version of Beast Megatron, as his original version is not a Scrappy.

It is you, isn't it? Yes! Lord Megatron! At last. Megatron, greatest leader of the Decepticons, my namesake, whose destiny lies in an endless war. That is, until now, thanks to this.
~ Megatron being a suck up.

Megatron is a major antagonist in Transformers: War for Cybertron: Kingdom, the third and final installment of the Transformers: War for Cybertron Trilogy.

He is the leader of the Predacons from a dystopian future ruled by Unicron. He traveled back in time to help Decepticon Megatron find the Allspark.

He was voiced by Marqus Bobesich.

What Makes Him a Scrappy?[]

  • His personality has been completely butchered. In Beast Wars, Megatron was an incredibly cunning and intelligent villain with plans to conquer Cybetron. Here, he's a whiney fanboy to Decepticon Megatron (which, his IDW counterpart is also) and nothing else.
    • His loyalty to Decepticon Megatron, while in character, was poorly executed and done unlike the original cartoon.
    • Many fans have pointed out that Megatron in this show is more comparable to Scorponok in both personality and voice.
  • By turning him into a suck up, the show completely wastes the opportunity of having two different Megatrons with opposing goals.
  • His voice sounds high pitched and raspy when it should be deep and intimidating.
  • He has no plot relevance outside of giving the other Megatron the Golden Disk.
  • Him adopting the name Megatron is played off as nothing more than a joke which isn't even that funny.
  • He's not much of a leader to the Predacons, letting his counterpart do all of the leading.
  • Him constantly sucking up to Decepticon Megatron gets very annoying.
  • His iconic catchphrase, "Yeeeesssss," is only used once, and it's completely ruined by his terrible voice acting.
