Lori Morning is a supporting protagonist in the DC Comics series, The Legion of Super-Heroes.
She is a young girl whose father was a minion for the supervillain, Chronos. After Chronos developed accelerated aging, he passed the ability onto Lori, briefly turning her into an adult. Eventually, she reverts back to her actual age and becomes an unofficial member of the Legion of Super-Heroes.
What Makes Her a Scrappy?[]
- She was a pointless addition to the Legion who didn’t contribute to their heroics and had no role in the storylines outside of comic relief. While she was planned to be revealed as the past version of the villainess, Glorith, she was removed from the comics before anything could be done with it.
- She doesn’t have any unique powers or skillsets like the other characters, with her only real gadget being the H-Dial, which transforms her into already existing superheroes.
- Her mischievous antics often took screen time away from the other characters despite not impacting the comics in anyway.
- She only exists to reference the "Tagalong Kid" trope from the nineties, which had begun to die out around the time that Lori was introduced.
