Loofah and Doofah are the central protagonists of The Land Before XIII: The Wisdom of Friends, the universally-panned thirteenth instalment of The Land Before Time franchise. They and Foobie are three Yellow-Bellies who need the help of Littlefoot and his friends to reach Berry Valley.
Loofah is voiced by Cuba Gooding, Jr. while Doofah is voiced by Sandra Oh.
What Makes Them Scrappies?[]
- Like many characters from the later Land Before Time movies, their designs are very confusing and not indicative of their species at all. They are meant to be Beipiaosaurus, yet due to the absence of long claws, presence of a thumb, and near-total lack of feathers or a tail, they look more like Sesame Street characters than dinosaurs.
- They are very stupid and constantly get the main characters in danger out of sheer incompetence. This is shown when they think they reached Berry Valley, while it is actually just a clearing with berry bushes.
- Their motives are dumb as they need to head towards Berry Valley despite not knowing where it is or what it looks like.
- Their song number, "Yellow Belly Bounce", is considered by many fans to be the worst song in the entire franchise, which is already notorious for its many poorly-written songs.
- Overall, they are just annoying characters who make Littlefoot's life worse out of sheer idiocy and the main reason The Wisdom of Friends is considered the absolute worst movie in the franchise.
