~ Ken Morgan |
Ken Morgan is a minor antagonist in the 2016 game, Hitman.
He is a lawyer who is associated with the organization, Providence, and is hired by one of its members to have their son, Jordan Cross, found innocent of murder. As a result, Agent 47 is hired to kill him alongside Cross.
What Makes Him a Scrappy[]
- He is a flat character, especially when compared to the main target, Jordan Cross. Other targets in Hitman have an eccentric personality, intimidating presence, and/or sympathetic moments, but all Ken does is walk around and argue with hotel staff.
- He is seen as extremely easy to kill, as his route is very short and offers no creative options to get rid of him, aside from one route of getting Cross to kill him in a blind rage.
- He has very little connection to the plot of the game, as in context, Jordan was contracted to die to lure his father out of hiding, but Ken is given no reason to die except that he was working on Jordan's case.
- The only connection he has in the game is his friendship with Don Yates, who was pissed at Diana for playing a part in killing him and is one of the reasons for his antagonism towards her, but that's really it, and there is more emphasis on Don not thinking she is a good constant for Providence because he is paranoid about her trustworthiness, and he is correct. And there is also Morgan's dog Pickles who was taken under the care of the Yates after Morgan's death until he was killed by a grape picker.
- Overall just one reason why Bangkok is one of the hitman fanbase's least favourite maps of the trilogy.
Trivia[]
- Interestingly, he, Nolan Cassidy & Imogen Royce are the only scrappies in the World of Assassinations trilogy campaign and they are all secondary targets.
- In one route, he is killed by Jordan Cross, who is ironically considered an Ensemble Dark Horse due to his fleshed out personality and creative kill methods.
