	~ Kaguya Otsutsuki as she attempts to get all chakra for a boring reason.

Kaguya Ōtsutsuki is the overarching antagonist of the Naruto franchise. She is the source of the whole conflict and the biggest threat ever to be faced by the heroes. She was originally a low-ranking member of the Ōtsutsuki Clan and the former partner of Isshiki.

Kaguya came to Earth to serve as a sacrifice to cultivate a God Tree. However, be it for power, fear of death or a fondness for the planet, she betrayed her partner and the rest of her clan. She then became the first being to ever wield chakra on earth, turning into an unfathomably powerful goddess in order to save the world from war, only to become a power-crazed tyrant.

Growing more and more paranoid of her clan coming to Earth to punish her for her betrayal, she tried turning the Human race into White Zetsu solders. Eventually, she turned herself into the demonic Ten-Tailed Beast, only to be sealed away by her sons, but not before she created Black Zetsu, who orchestrated the entire shinobi history to revive her.

She was voiced by Mami Koyama in the Japanese version and Cissy Jones in the English version.

What Makes Her a Scrappy?[]

She is a very bland and boring villain with no personality or interesting motivations compared to even fairly minor villains like Hidan, Zabuza or Kakuzu.
There was very little foreshadowing towards her, making her reveal come off as a poorly planned Ass Pull.
Madara, a villain who was much more popular and had a lot more build up, ended up getting shafted in order to insert her into the story.
Despite being way more powerful than Obito and Madara and being the one who was responsible for most of their actions through Zetsu, she didn't even last a fraction of their screentime and was defeated far easier.
- Her getting teamed up on by everyone isn't a valid excuse either. Madara was also being teamed up on by everyone with the addition of entire nations and the 5 kage against him and revived people yet was still able to last way longer than she was.
While most later appearing Ōtsutsuki's are all cartoonishly evil, they at least have some personalities unlike her. Even Urashiki, another Scrappy (and even Hate Sink) himself has funny and enjoyable moments and a defined personality.
