Justin Bieber is one of the two titular protagonists of the DEATH BATTLE! episode "Justin Bieber VS Rebecca Black". He is an acclaimed yet somewhat controversial pop singer and simultaneously Rebecca Black's archenemy and idol.
What Makes Him a Scrappy?[]
- To get the elephant out of the room, Justin and Rebecca's portrayals in the video are seen as one of the most, if not the most, offensive and slanderous portrayals of characters in the history of the series. Virtually the entirety of the Death Battle community cites his episode as the worst one of the show due to its cyberbullying of two innocent teenagers at the time of its release, all for their music being seen by some as highly annoying. Justin, along with Rebecca, is by far the most offensive character Wiz and Boomstick ever conceived, which is truly saying something.
- It got so bad that Justin's episode is currently unlisted as of October 2024, the only episode ever to be such.
- At the beginning of the battle, Rebecca kicks his nether regions, to absolutely no effect, which is an insanely sexist moment in the video.
- Justin only lasted about a minute before Rebecca abruptly kills him and herself, which is pathetically short even for a kid and him getting flattened by a car, which was played for absolute satisfaction, frustrated several viewers.
- The usage of Pompeii by E.S. Posthumus while Justin is fighting feels extremely out of place.
Trivia[]
- Cementing his status as a Scrappy, his episode is the worst-rated in Death Battle history, with only 2.9 out of 10 on IMDb. Wiz and Boomstick outright stated that they felt bad for uploading it.
