NOTE: This article specifically details the Slippin’ Jimmy version of the character as the original Jimmy McGill/Saul Goodman is a highly popular character among the Breaking Bad fandom. |

Jimmy McGill, also known as Slippin' Jimmy, is the titlular main protagonist in the critically panned Slippin' Jimmy animated series. Throughout the episodes, he, alongside his best friend Marco, goes on various misadventures.
He was voiced by Sean Giambrone.
What Makes Him a Scrappy?[]
- His personality is extremely immature, foolhardy, dull, crass, and inconsistent. While the show intended to create a backstory, the series' tone and nonsensical plots makes him extremely hard to take him seriously or comedically - he acts nothing like he does in Breaking Bad or Better Call Saul.
- His relationship with Marco is quite bland, barring the final episode. Most of Marco's interactions assisting and agreeing with Jimmy, causing both of them to lack meaningful conflicts with each other.
- Due to the lack of continuity in each episode, he has no character development and remains the same personality wise.
- The jokes he and Marco make are almost always forced, repetitive, and inconsistent.
- His character design is ugly, generic, and hasty, being as forgettable as everybody else's in the show.
- All of the conflicts he and Marco engage in are either nonsensical, bland, or both, which includes:
- A snowball fight which he and Marco predictably win in the end, because they are protagonists.
- Trying to escape detention while dealing with the detention monitor being a demon from Hell.
- Sneaking out at night to buy a comic book while a taxi driver (who is also a pirate) tries to kill them.
- Inciting various amounts of chaos on a train while trying to give Chuck a phonograph.
- Trying to ask a crush out to a dance.
- Despite the show trying to depict his growth into a con artist, he only pulls off a single con in stealing ice cream sandwiches in the final episode. This is still very low-stakes, especially compared with the standards of Better Call Saul.
- The idea that the events of this series were meant to be canon to the Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul shows is baffling.
