Jecka's Dad is a supporting antagonist in the Class of 09 franchise, acting as the main antagonist of The Flip Side.

He is the father of series deutratagonist, Jecka. After his divorce, he has quickly become an abusive deadbeat who mainly seeks to force Jecka to give him money.

He was voiced by Don MacDonald.

What Makes Him a Scrappy?[]

Although his loud voice and unusual logic were meant to make him entertaining, his abrasive personality, violent threats, and Jecka’s disturbed reactions made him too aggressive to be entertaining and hits too close to home in regards to abusive parents.
He is the least interesting villain in the series, as most of his humor relies on his abuse towards Jecka or his foot fetish and doesn’t evolve beyond that.
He is indirectly responsible for one of the most criticized endings, where he hooks up with Nicole to satisfy his foot fetish and traumatizes Jecka so much that she commits suicide.
Despite his many deplorable actions, he is the only villain in the series who never receives punishment for them, whereas other villains and even Nicole and Jecka are able to be punished in the games.

Trivia[]

He is an ironic scrappy in that when he first debuted, he wasn’t considered a scrappy due to coming off as a Hate Sink and only counts because the developer confirmed in a livestream that he was meant to be comedic.
Ironically, his characterization is based on Kylar and the Mall Cop, two of Class of 09's most popular EDHs.
