Ichika Orimura is the main protagonist in Infinite Stratos. He is the only male student in Infinite Stratos Academy, as well the only male to use the titular exoskeleton.

He was voiced by Kōki Uchiyama in Japanese and by Jessie James Grelle in English.

What Makes Him a Scrappy?

• He is the definition of a generic harem protagonist who instantly gets girls to fall in love with him and is clueless to their affections for him.
• He is at times portrayed as a Garry Stu within the anime.
• He's Infinite Stratos is a generation older than Houki's and yet is still stronger than her.
• While him constantly getting attacked by the girls for his stupidity is funny at first, it quickly gets overused and annoying.
• (While this also applies to the female characters) he's one of the main reasons his anime flopped and didn't get a third season.
