~ Joker telling Harley what everyone watching this movie wants. |
Harleen Quinzel, also known as Harley Quinn or Lee Quinn, is the deuteragonist of the infamous 2024 jukebox musical psychological thriller film Joker: Folie à Deux, the sequel to the 2019 film Joker.
She is an Arkham Asylum inmate and Joker's girlfriend.
She was portrayed by Lady Gaga, who also voiced herself in The Simpsons.
What Makes Her a Scrappy?[]
- In the comics, Harley Quinn is a chaotic and complex anti-hero with many tragic qualities. Here, she doesn't have any redeemable or entertaining attributes and is just an extremely unnoteworthy villain.
- Her name is also Lee instead of Harleen, further insulting comic accuracy.
- She had no personality other than being obsession with Joker and being a plot device for Arthur to embracing his Joker persona which he already did in the first movie.
- She doesn't do anything in the film besides singing licensed music, which does not further the plot at all.
- It got so bad that the scene where Joker tells her to stop singing, which was supposed to be a dramatic moment, came off as unintentionally funny.
- She and Joker have incredibly poor chemistry, even though they're supposed to be the leads.
- The reveal that she was lying to Joker was poorly built up and came out of nowhere, talk about a bad romance.
