Ga'ran Sigatar Khura'in is the overarching antagonist of the Ace Attorney: Apollo Justice trilogy.

She is the queen of Khura'in, the wife of Inga, and the aunt and adoptive mother of Rayfa. In her position as queen, she has secretly ruled the Khura'in with an iron fist and used the Defense Culpability Act to prevent lawyers from calling her out. She is also responsible for the murder of Apollo's father, Jove Justice.

What Makes Her a Scrappy?

• She is an obvious twist villain, due to her intimidating attire, the resources she possesses, and the game trying to make her seem benevolent before the twist, making her big reveal not very surprising.
• She is a generic "For the Evulz" villain whose only real motive is that she wants to do whatever evil deed she wants without consequence, causing her to seem flat compared to other villains in the game who have more character and motivations.
• She is a contrived combination of too many previous villains, like Manfred Von Karma, Morgan Fey, Dahlia Hawthorne, Kristoph Gavin or Excelsius Winner.
• Despite her intelligence, she consistently makes stupid mistakes that the game tries to portray as coincidences. This includes wearing her royal clothes when murdering Jove or the fact that she could’ve simply ended the trial anytime she wanted since she controlled the law.
• She is seen as a wasted opportunity, as her ability to control the law could’ve been a pretty interesting plot point in a game series where you must use the law to win, yet she does not take advantage of this.

• She is the only female Ace Attorney Scrappy to come from the mainline games, as Lauren Paups and Joan Garrideb all come from spinoff titles.
