“ | Don't you see, Mister? I beg you: Pretend you never saw us! Can you do that? | „ |
~ Francesca Pianta |
Francesca Pianta is a supporting character in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. She is a yellow Pianta who is Frankie's lover and daughter of Don Pianta.
What Makes Her a Scrappy?[]
- She is a very selfish woman who acts controlling towards Frankie, even when her father misses her.
- If Mario says no to her request to pretend, he didn't find where they were, Francesca angrily promises to not leave the spot she and Frankie are in.
- Even when Don Pianta is horribly sick and Mario tells them about it, Francesca is more concerned about losing her wedding ring than her own father. When Frankie suggests returning to him, she accuses him of not loving her anymore.
- This also leads into the infamous and overly long scene where Frankie has to tell Francesca "I love you" 100 times! This whole scene is done just to waste everyone's time.
- After returning to Don Pianta, Francesca claims as soon as they heard he was ill, they came back to his office right away, which is a blatant lie since she cared more about her missing ring and refused to leave.
- If Mario chooses to do Frankie's trouble at the trouble center and meet with him, he is worried that if Francesca found out that he lost his wedding ring, she would make him say "I love you" a billion times as punishment.
