Father Karras is an antagonist of the critically panned Slippin' Jimmy animated series. He is a teacher at Jimmy McGill's school at Cicero.
He was voiced by Chi McBride.
What makes him a Scrappy?[]
- He has barely any personality whatsoever and mostly exists as a plot device to send Jimmy and Marco into conflicts.
- He was offended by Jimmy's prank on having a "Pope Me" sign taped at his back and sends him to detention. Somehow, he also sends Marco into detention, even though the latter didn't do anything wrong.
- When he appears at the end of the second episode, when he doesn't see anything particularly wrong about a demon randomly thrashing Marco around the detention center, he subsequently gets himself possessed.
- The way he monitors the halls is ridiculous, as he crawls up the ceilings and walls and snaps at other students when they break minor rules.
- He somehow is the camp director at the final episode without explanation, and again exists merely as a plot device to drive the friendship conflicts between Marco and Jimmy. While he does a better job at driving the plot he still has hardly any personality and doesn't do much besides function as a generic antagonist.
- During the episode, he almost electrocutes himself when trying to find the culprits of who stole his ice cream, somehow not even recognizing the dangers of the a broken wire.
