Enigma and Paradigma are major characters in the FNAF AU, FNAFNG.
They are a duo of rabbit-slimer hybrids created as the children of Puppet and Springtrap using magic and carry on their legacy after they died in a fire. Afterwards, they joined the children of the Originals as their friends.
What Makes Them Scrappies?[]
- While the Marionette/Springtrap ship was already controversial within the FNAFNG fandom, Enigma and Paradigma's addition added unnecessary fire to the controversy by cementing the ship as permanent and adding unneeded implications that are only cleared up in the descriptions.
- They are pointless to both the story and the narrative. They don’t add anything that the other characters don’t already add, such as being bullying victims with insecurities. Additionally, the role of "children" to Puppet and Springtrap was already given to the Originals as adopted children and to the Afton siblings, further reducing their relevance to the story.
- Their designs, particularly Paradigma's, are ugly to look at as they unsuccessfully try to combine Puppet and Springtrap’s designs, coming off as bizarre and unfitting.
- The infamous commission done by Namygaga involving the two having an incestuous moment that is played for dark comedy. While this was confirmed to be non-canon, it still nonetheless damaged the reputation of the Twins for the fanbase.
Trivia[]
- Out of FNAFNG's Scrappies, Enigma and Paradigma are the only ones to have been Scrappies immediately upon release, whereas the others became Scrappies due to controversies related to the creator or after being flanderized.
