Katherine "Kate" Cha also known as Dupli-Kate is a supporting character in Invincible.
She is a superhero with the ability to duplicate herself. She was also a member of the new Guardians of the Globe, as well as the fiancée of The Immortal.
She is voiced by Malese Jow.
What makes her a Scrappy?[]
- Many fans dislike her self-centered personality, where she talks in a narcissistic tone to everyone around her.
- Her infamous line, "I just went through just as much as you and Rex", where the creators try to emphasize her contribution for saving Earth against other threats. But throughout the cartoon, she barely has any contribution and always dies. Most of the job is done by other stronger heroes like Atom Eve, Invincible, and Rex-Splode.
- It is more ironic based on the fact that Rex-Splode took down all the Lizard League members by himself and even kills one of the Invincible variants during Invincible War. Shrinking Rae; on the other hand, almost sacrificed herself during an attempt to enlarge herself inside a member of Lizard League, but got her body crushed inside. Meanwhile, Dupli-Kate dies very fast in almost every battle, especially during the fight against the Lizard League where all of her clones dies simultaneously.
- She hypocritically tells Shrinking Rae she didn’t fall apart the second she got hurt, despite the fact her clones easily get killed by any form of attack.
- She arrogantly tells Multi-Paul that she saved the country from being nuked by the Lizard League, despite the fact Rex is the one who stopped the League. She contributed nothing to stopping them and was easily beaten by them.
- When she was added to Fortnite as a skin, many people hated it and caused lots of backlash and thought someone like Rex-Splode, Battle Beast, Robot or any Alternate Mark Grayson would have been better. It caused so much controversy that Epic Games made her a free skin.
- Like the Immortal, she is always seen losing and barely has any wins in all battles. As all of her clones die in the most miserable ways possible. What makes this more funny is that her twin brother, Multi-Paul uses his powers way better than she does.
- Compare to Multi-Paul, Dupli-Kate is terrible at using her ability. Fans criticized that Dupli-Kate’s fighting skill is uninspiring and has lack of creativity. She always creates about 5 clones and fights her enemies like a child fighter before being brutally killed off by the villain. Meanwhile, Multi-Paul is able to use his clones in creative manners, like using them to forcefully break out of prison. Furthermore, there is no reason why Dupli-Kate cannot create more than 5 clones.
- Her romance with the Immortal feels very awkward and lack of proper explanation, they have a romance that came out of nowhere. While the show try to explain it by saying they sacrificed multiple times to save the earth and humanity, but most of the time they just die in the most embarrassing way as possible.
- Some fans even feel pissed off the fact that both Dupli-Kate and The Immortal have a happy ending as both being engaged by the end of Season 3, while Rex-Splode and Shrinking Rae didn’t get such a ending as Rex died during the Invincible War in an attempt to kill one of the evil invincible variants. Some fans have even said that they'd rather Dupli-Kate died in the Invincible War so that Rex could survive instead.

- Dupli-Kate, Anissa and Omni-Mark are currently the only Invincible characters to be Scrappies.
- Dupli-Kate is also the only Invincible character in the TV series to be a Scrappy, whereas Anissa and Omni-Mark are the only characters in the comics to be Scrappies.
- While not yet discussed, it's possible that Dupli-Kate's comic counterpart might also count as a Scrappy.
