Dude Monkey is a supporting character in the TV show Megamind Rules!, a continuation of Megamind vs. the Doom Syndicate.
He is a "hero" of Metro City as well as a social blogger.
He was voiced by Max Mittelman.
What Makes Him a Scrappy?[]
- Dude Monkey is portrayed as your stereotypical social media influencer and it just as painfully cringe inducing as you think.
- It doesn’t help that the episode starting Dude Monkey is riddled with some unfunny jokes imaginable. Jokes such as Megamind acting like a social blogger himself while trying to stop Lord Nighty-Knight, Chum watching old Internet videos, Chum creating a meme, or any of Dude Monkey jokes like him dancing on a crappy drawing of Megamind while shouting “Banana Loving Ding Dong”.
- Like with the Go Fish Gang, Dude Monkey design is also very ugly and even a bit creepy to look at. He looks like some sort of mess up grow up version of Fanboy from Fanboy & Chum Chum and Trevor Troublemeyer from Sidekick.
- While much less hated after his redemption, some fans feel that his redemption seems rushed and are upset he no longer serves his purpose as a Hate Sink anymore.

- He is one out of four Megamind characters that are considered Scrappy alongside the titular character himself, the Mayor of Metro City, and Keiko Morita, (all of which are from the sequel).
