Drago Wolf is a major antagonist in the Sonic the Hedgehog Archie comics.
He is a former freedom fighter who betrayed his allies and joined Eggman in a desire to help him rule the world and gain a more desirable life. Through abuse, he forced his girlfriend, Hershey, into assisting him before she left him.
What Makes Him a Scrappy?[]
- While he was meant to be hated, his abuse towards his girlfriend, Hershey, is criticized for being too close to home, making him feel out of place in the generally light-hearted and cartoony Sonic franchise.
- Despite his intimidating appearance, he almost never puts up an entertaining or memorable battle in his appearances.
- His plan to frame Sonic by having Hershey dress up as Sonic and unknowingly attempt to murder Sally by making an optical device in the costume make her look like Snively was criticized for being very nonsensical and distracting from the main plot of the Endgame arc.
- He ultimately becomes less of a dangerous villain and more of a punching bag for the other characters, even being humiliated by Eggman and getting defeated in one punch by Big the Cat.
- Because of the reasons above, Drago lacks the entertaining or memorable moments that made other villains so memorable.
