Dark Gennai, the "Mysterious Man" is the main antagonist (alongside Meicoomon) of Digimon Adventure tri.. He is working with King Drasil and Maki Himekawa. He is voiced by Hiroaki Hirata in Japanese Version and Jeff Nimoy in English Version.
What Makes Him a Scrappy?[]
- Fans of the original Gennai found the character confusing. His backstory and motivation to commit evil acts aren’t very developed. Even he posing as the Digimon Emperor has no explanation, which made the viewers question why would he need to do that.
