Goals	Revive the Kytinn race. Aid Lord Shinnok and the Brotherhood of Shadow in their diabolical quest to bring all of the realms to their knees. Aid the Revenants on their destructive path of revenge and chaos. Aid Kronika in her scheme to remake the universe (all failed).
What failed with the character?	She was introduced as a questionable retcon to the series, constantly infuriates other characters with her betrayal and murder spree, and by the time of MK11, she kills Hanzo, even though there were better and more fitting options, and above all, never got any punishment.

D'Vorah is a major antagonist in Mortal Kombat, being a major protagonist in the Mortal Kombat X comic series, one of the two secondary antagonists (alongside Quan Chi) of Mortal Kombat X, and a major antagonist in Mortal Kombat 11.

She is a Kytinn which served Kotal Kahn before it was revealed that she was actually working for Shinnok and Quan Chi, after the events of Mortal Kombat X, she now works under the service of Kronika in her job of making a new era.

She was voiced by Kelly Hu.

What Makes Her a Scrappy?

• She appears out of nowhere in the story and we are made to believe that she was always there, not only in Mortal Kombat 2011, but presumably also the original Midway timeline, which makes it questionable why she never participated in anything. Although some characters like Erron Black, Geras, Skarlet or Kotal Kahn are also introduced that way, they are more beloved characters compared to D'Vorah.
• The most prominent reason for the hatred towards this character is the fact that she kills classic and beloved characters in a horrible way (like Baraka and Mileena) or unfairly (Master Hanzo Hasashi/Scorpion). It was even implied that she killed Jerrod in an intro dialogue before it was revealed Sindel killed him.
  • While in the context of the story, Baraka and Mileena did deserve their fates, Hanzo's death is rather egregious, as Noob Saibot, or even one of the revenants was right there to get revenge on Hanzo instead of D'Vorah. It may have been revenge for how he killed Quan Chi, but this is never brought up. D'Vorah's killing of Hanzo was considered the step too far for fans.
• Her motivation for constant betrayal is rather generic, being implied to be survival and getting help from the best to ensure that. However, D'Vorah has shown that she's very capable of survival on her own anyway, being able to survive being torn in half in the comic due to being made of bugs.
• Since she was most likely erased from existence by Kronika, and due to Liu Kang choosing not to revive her in the third timeline, she received well-deserved karma for her crimes, as well as the fact that the plot armor on her has expired by that point.
• Although some people play with her, it is obviously more because of her list of skills and kombos she can do, and not because they like her.
• She is so hated that many of the YouTube videos that show the fatalities of MKX and MK11 always use her as a test dummy, due to her blue blood presumably being a work around for YouTube's age restrictions, until Predator, Alien, Spawn and Robocop were added to the roster.
