~ Craig and Jimmy's infamous conversation with each other. |
Craig Wheeler is a major supporting character in Cartoon Network’s live action movie Re-Animated and it’s show Out Of Jimmy’s Head. He is the best friend to the main protagonist Jimmy Roberts and is the brother to Robin.
Craig is played by Micah Karns in Re-Animated. While in Out Of Jimmy’s Head, he is played by Jon Kent Ethridge II.
What makes him a Scrappy?[]
- While Reanimated has a lot of awful characters such as Golly Gopher and Jimmy’s Dad, Craig really stands out for being particularly horrendous character due to his horrible treatment towards his best friend Jimmy. Throughout the movie Jimmy has been taken advantage of by everyone in his school, and out of all of them Craig takes advantage of Jimmy the most, such as copying his homework, having Jimmy holding on to everybody's stuff at Golly World, persuading Jimmy sneak into Tux’s Arctic Adventure ride to find Milt Appleday brain, and forcing Jimmy to set up a party and invite everyone in the school without Craig to help, which makes you wonder why Jimmy is even friends with Craig even though the latter treats him just as bad if not worse than all the other kids in school.
- When Jimmy got out of hospital and got back to school to tell Craig about seeing cartoon characters in real life, not only did he ignore Jimmy about said cartoon characters but he outright blames him for abandoning him at Golly World despite the fact that Jimmy got hit by a train and had to be sent to an emergency room to have a brain transplant. It’s downright disgusting for Craig to show no concern for Jimmy because he could have died.
- Jimmy goes to Craig’s house to once again tell him about the cartoon characters he been seeing. Craig berates Jimmy for not telling him about this and thought that the two of them were best friends, despite the fact Jimmy actually did tell Craig about seeing cartoon characters in the real world and he just ignored him. Jimmy also told Craig about Sonny Appleday moving into his home and Craig instantly jumps to a conclusion into think that Jimmy now being Sonny’s best friend now and setting up his own party as well, once again making the audience question why these two are even friends to begin with.
- Later in the movie, when Jimmy becomes president of Appleday studios and doesn’t have time to spend with both Craig and Robin anymore, Craig has the audacity to call Jimmy out on being a crappy friend, despite being infinitely worse than Jimmy in that regard.
- Probably the most infamous scene in the movie is where Craig is having his party and nobody there is enjoying it. Craig sees live television of Jimmy premiering his first ever Golly cartoon and Craig looks sad that his only best friend is not here in his own party. Now, this scene is shot in a way where now the audience is supposed to feel bad for Craig now that his own best friend has now ditch him. But it’s completely impossible to feel sorry for him because Craig was being an absolute scumbag human being and the worst type of friend ever.
- Yet despite forcing some sympathy down our throats, Craig does not learn his lesson by the end. Jimmy ends up giving up all of the popularity just to stay friends with him and yet Craig stays as this selfish best friend towards him just like how he was at the beginning of the movie.
