Circus Baby is one of the main characters in the FNAF AU, FNAFNG.
She is the former leader of the Funtimes who used to entertain children, but has now moved on to help the Missing Children with their lives.
What Makes Her a Scrappy?[]
- While she started out as a genuinely polite and respectful person who was struggling with her own problems, she wound up becoming more arrogant as the AU went on, often making sarcastic remarks towards her friends and resorting to gaslighting on some occasions to get her way.
- Her romance with Ballora is extremely creepy due to Ballora being her adoptive mother and Circus Baby resorting to gaslighting in order to pursue this romance, threatening to never love Ballora again unless she loved her the same way.
- Despite how rude and abusive she became, the narrative paints her in a sympathetic light because of the trauma she experienced and due to a brain injury, which falls flat considering that she had already moved past her trauma and the injury only comes up in descriptions.
- She is never punished or called out for her manipulation, with her being treated as in the right regardless.
- Shortly after her debut, she began stealing spotlight from the other characters to the point of gaining a short film and several storylines revolving around her.
