The Chronobowl Cameos are minor characters in the 2023 DC Extended Universe superhero film The Flash. They are a group of superheroes who witnessed the near collapse of their universes following the actions of the Dark Flash.
They have no actors, as they are all CGI, though Batman was voiced through audio-recordings of the late Adam West.
What Makes Them Scrappies?[]
- Their brief appearance had been criticized by many viewers for not having an important role in the plot and thus had been accused of being Nostalgia Bait.
- Another criticism they received was that most of them were characters from Superman and Batman medias rather than works about the Flash.
- They're also criticized for being CGI re-creations instead of the true actors.
- Some of the cameos had also been noticed to have errors with their suits. Supergirl had a noticeable bulge on her costume while Batman was missing his ears.
- One of the biggest criticisms towards the movie was the cameo of George Reeves' Superman. Since he died years before the movie and hated having played the role, re-creating him to make a cameo had been seen as disrespectful towards him, starting the question about the ethics of re-creating defunct actors' images.

- Even Nicolas Cage criticized DC's use of CGI, stating that the scene he originally filmed for his cameo was completely different from what appeared in the theatrical release. He also accused Warner Bros. of misleading him about his role in the film.
