Condemned by History

Characters who originally got a neutral, mixed or even positive reception when they first appeared but as time went on, viewers started to consider them scrappies, either out of the writing in their later appearances being much worse or changing values causing the character to no longer being seen in a positive light.

Their Opposites are Vindicated by History Ensemble Dark Horses.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Being condemned is not an automatic qualification for a character being a scrappy, as it is a matter of how COMPARITIVELY hated they are now. A character brought down into the heap can still be generally liked by a portion of the fanbase.
