Buddy is a minor character in the Looney Tunes franchise.
What Makes Him a Scrappy?[]
- Buddy was pretty much created as a replacement of Bosko. Despite being offensive and a blackface stereotype, Bosko at least had more personality than him.
- Speaking of, Buddy's worst trait is the fact he has absolutely zero personality, as hes nothing more but a generic happy-go-lucky protagonist. His co-stars don't fair much better either, with Cookie being his generic and bland girlfriend and Towser being his generic loyal companion.
- Most of his shorts weren't good quality either, lacking any interesting plots or jokes.
- To further emphasize just how bland Buddy was a character, he was mocked by the Animaniacs episode "The Warners' 65th Anniversary Special". There, his shorts were said to be so boring that the Warner Siblings were brought in to make them more interesting. In that same episode, he turned evil and tried to kill the Warners for ruining his career.
