Barry and Bob are minor characters in Disney's 45th full-length animated film, Home on the Range. They are Texas longhorns who are love interests of Maggie and Grace.
They were voiced by Mark Walton.
What Makes Them Scrappies?[]
- Many fans don’t like them for being quite unnecessary and annoying as they're just added for extra conflict, which wasn't quite necessary.
- The part where the two sexually harass Maggie, Grace and Mrs. Calloway cements how perverted they are and how it creeped out many detractors.
- They're seen as a wasted talent by Mark Walton, though he arguably does a great job giving his voice to the characters but was still limited by the way the characters were written.
- Several fans hated how slow-witted they were because all they did was fall in love with the cows and offer to be their bodyguards, in which many fans consider this concept as forced.
- Just like Buck, they were one of the reasons why Home on the Range was criticized as one of the weakest Disney animated films.
