Atmos is a major protagonist in the DC Comics franchise, serving as a supporting character in the Legion of Super-Heroes series.
He is a superhero and actor from the planet of Xanthu. After developing an interest in the Legion and a crush on Dream Girl, he decided to join the Legion.
What Makes Him a Scrappy?[]
- While he was meant to be seen as a Jerk With a Heart of Gold who genuinely has good intentions outside of his arrogance, he spends too much time bragging about his achievements and is rarely seen doing many heroic things. He even refused to help his home planet out of cowardice.
- During his relationship with Dream Girl, there was heavy implication that he used slight mind control abilities to manipulate her into a sexual relationship, which came off to as sexual assault, although it’s also implied that this was false. Outside of that, he came off as a neglectful and forceful boyfriend who was oblivious to her depression.
- His design is ugly to look at, particularly his off putting Mohawk and his invisible armpits.
