Arty is a minor character in the Five Nights at Freddy's novel trilogy, appearing as a minor character in The Twisted Ones.
He is a student at the college that Charlie was attending and became one of her friends at said college who hoped to date her at some point.
What Makes Him a Scrappy?[]
- He was an insensitive friend towards Charlie, as he was mostly focused on trying to date her than anything else. When he learns at the end of the book that Charlie was supposedly dead, he was more disappointed that he couldn’t date her and additionally attempted to lie to her other friends that they were.
- His appearance at the end of the book distracts from the emotional scene of Charlie’s friends mourning her death due to his aforementioned insensitive comments.
- He is pointless to the story, only appearing once at the beginning and the end, yet doesn’t add anything of value to his appearances.
- He is the least interesting of Charlie’s friends due to his low screen presence, lack of development, and pointlessness in the story.

- He is the only human Scrappy in the official Five Nights At Freddy’s material, as well as the only book-exclusive Scrappy.
- Arty does have a small handful of fans who believe that his insensitive comments are his way of dealing with a tragedy. If this was ever proven true, it could affect his Scrappy status.
